MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View:
Fusion cuisine with Asian influences organised into a set menu that is dictated by the market, the produce and the seasons. The setting is a contemporary interior with a glass roof. The lunch set menu is a bargain, and in the evening the offer veers into fine dining territory with two multi-course set menus.
GAULT&MILLAU'S OPINION:
An interesting table, Asian fusion designed by chef Alexis Bonnard, which is revealed by original and controlled combinations. For the initiation, you can be satisfied with the lunch menu at 39 €, but you will have to come back for these well-composed plates, felt and accomplished, which border on the 2nd toque: red tuna ponzu shichimi snow peas, celery langoustine gochugaru, duck breast eggplant tamarind Vietnamese cocoa… Good menu in 5 sequences for €75, good sake menu.
IT'S NEW - Pretty nugget here because if the decor stings a little, the plates are crazy to rush into the bistro. The adventure of the FANFAN restaurant is like an adventure novel and a crush between Asian culture and French know-how.
